JOB TITLE: PROJECT WORKER / ADMINISTRATOR (UKRAINIAN & RUSSIAN AND
ENGLISH SPEAKING)

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Project Worker is responsible for providing support and
translation services to Ukrainian refugees who have arrived in Cork
City and County.
The Project Worker role aims to support integration of newly arrived
Ukrainians in Cork through information, advice, support, translation,
referral and linkages to services. This will involve a community
development approach and established referral pathways already in
operation in Together-Razem, with development of newer mechanisms as
required.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Follow a weekly work programme in a dedicated HUB Together4Ukraine
as directed by Together-Razem.
* Meet with newly arrived Ukrainian refugees on a one to one/group
basis to provide basic needs assessment, make referrals, links to
services and supports.
* Assist in the overall delivery of TR services and supports aimed
at Ukrainian refugees
* Case work and administration of the Hub Together4Ukraine
* Participate on local networks and fora as required;
* Organise and deliver local events that support integration;
* Adhere to TR Guidelines and operational procedures at all times
* Keep appropriate and up-to-date records of all project activities
and prepare and update group records in adherence with programme
requirements and data protection policies
* Prepare reports on programme activities and actions as requested
by the CEO & Board
* To update online resources and dedicated website in Ukrainian and
English language and running Telegram channel for Ukrainians
* To lead a group of volunteers on creation and implementation of
fundraising ideas
* Any other duties that may be assigned within the general
requirements of the role as appropriate for the grade.

to the development of the post while in office.
TIME COMMITMENT:

* Administration includes record keeping, note taking, collation of
data, maintenance of GDPR, according to the policies, procedures and
requirements of Together Razem.
TRAINING:
The Project Worker will receive training including:
* Induction training in Together-Razem
* Tusla?s Children First
* Intercultural Awareness Training provided by HSELand
* Garda vetting will be completed on obtaining the position.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
_QUALIFICATIONS:_
* A relevant third-level qualification including social
sciences/social care, psychology, community development or equivalent
combination of relevant education and experience;
* Have verbal and written proficiency in English and Ukrainian and
Russian
* Successful candidates must continue to satisfy Citizenship
Eligibility requirements (including any person holding an official
letter confirming they have been granted Temporary Protection in
Ireland under the EU Temporary Protection Directive **Apply on the

_EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:_
* A minimum of one year experience in a similar position or in
community services/education/social care setting
* Experience of providing individual support and outreach,
preferably to migrants/refugees/asylum seekers
* Some understanding of immigration policies, practices and
legislation in Ireland
* A strong interest in and knowledge of the issues facing asylum
seekers and refugees and migrants in Ireland, particularly those who
are at risk of social exclusion, poverty and discrimination
* A commitment to a human rights based approaches
* Extensive knowledge of social welfare policies and practices
* Experience of report writing
* Experience in information provision and advocating for rights and
equality
* An understanding and ability to relate to and work with people
across cultures and backgrounds
* Experience of working in partnership with a wide range of other
organisations
